The lion in this card replaces the traditional injured man, this majestic beast is caged by wands, the symbols of intuition, spirituality and primal energy. The lion, normally so statuesque and unmoving, is confused by his current predicament. There seems to be so much going on but so little is in truth happening. The lion in this state is in danger of allowing the stress to overwhelm him and not understanding what he needs.
The 8th of November daily tarot card reading is telling us that a test of strength may be on the way. It must not be avoided, deal with it as soon as you can. Use your head and not your heart to make choices and don’t be afraid to make changes.
Personal Reflection
For me I think the challenge ahead will be more about reacting intelligently and not emotionally. I am awful at not reacting to just about everything defensively. I have had to work hard on this as it was the leading cause of escalating any argument. Whatever challenge is coming, I will need to approach it with a calm and intelligent mindset.
